San Diego, California is a long way away from Amarillo, Texas! I mean a looong way from Amarillo, TX. KB and I decided to celebrate our one year anniversary (which was actually May 16th) and the completion of her 3rd year of Med School in a big way, so we decided to take a a bit of a holiday to San Diego.

Of course I brought along my photography gear (neatly packed in fashionable way) and carried my camera with me everywhere we went. Here are some of my favorite images from our trip, but KB has chosen many more and posted them for everyone to see! It was like a dream to get to photograph in San Diego with its warm beautiful light which glowed so well off of our freshly tanned skin as we soaked in the beaches, wildlife, and night life that San Diego had to offer.

We used the “EyeWitness San Diego Top 10” book as our guidebook to capitalize on the best of San Diego. It was blast and it was hard for this Amarillo Photographer to want to return home from San Diego. Hope you enjoy the images!
